Transporter full of VWs drives into San Diego Bay

Volkswagen has just found out an important fact about its cars.  They don’t float.  On Saturday, a trucker hauling a load of new VWs from San Diego to Los Angeles drove off a pier and into the ocean.

The driver suffered from a medical condition that caused him to black out which triggered the accident.  He become conscious shortly after going over and was able to escape the vehicle and swim 13 feet to be rescued and taken to the hospital.  The trailer did not go over but 3 cars did fall into the water.
