Wesley Snipes Blames All His Problems On Racism
There are just some things you can’t blame on race, and this is one of them. Wesley Snipes court date is nearing, and he is now resorting to using the race card to resolve his problems. Because your an African American you were forced not to pay your taxes? I can see other situations where race could be involved and you could be treated unfairly, but this is not one of those cases.
Snipes is being charged with eight counts of tax fraud and is due to stand trial next month in Florida stemming from claimed tax refunds of almost $12 million in 1996 and 1997 and is also accused of failing to file tax returns from 1999 to 2004.
He told this to Entertainment Weekly, “It was easy for people to jump on the ‘Wesley’s the bad guy’ bandwagon. That’s where I think the systematic racism comes in. We’re conditioned in this country to believe that if there’s a problem, the black man is the culprit.”
I don’t think your going to be able to convince anyone that this was a matter of race. Its just someone doing their job and the race card probably (most likely) has nothing to do with it. Whats your opinion?
