GreenParty :: Is Harper Killing the Canadian Electric Car?
So the Green Party of Canada is upset about something, go figure. Two Canadian electric car manufactures are leaving the country and selling their products else where due to the Canadian Government and you know people are going to get angry at that (well, not too many people). Of course the Green Party would be upset at this. After all, driving an electric car makes the trees smile at you as you drive by and there really isn’t any other feeling like that… right?
This really isn’t all to bad if you ask me. They should start pulling all electric cars from the market…. in every country. If you really think about it, they really aren’t helping the environment. Where does that electricity come from for the car? What went into making those battery’s? How much energy was used to store the electricity in the car? Driving this electric car and driving, say… a Honda Civic (non electric) are probably the same as far as “helping the environment” and their complaints are rubbish. This is just my opinion, and I don’t hate the envirnoment, I just hate the idea of electric cars became they are truly impractical.
